2 different gigs and live studio recording for the EP 'One Day', this is the legendary Croyde reggae Ska funk band The Universe Inspectors performing 'Dub Train'. No overdubs, 1 take. Recorded for the nearly ready (!) upcoming Universe Inspectors documentary that should be finalised with the Uni's Goldcoast Oceanfest performance on 18th June 2010 in Croyde Bay, North Devon. This video was recorded by Mark Brindle from maniac Films on a Sony F900 (HDCAM), Canon 7D DSLR (H264) with Nikon 50mm/f1.4 at iso540 and Panasonic HVX200 (DVCPROHD) with Redrock M2 lens adapter and Nikon primes. Video of the Live studio recording has been mixed in with 2 different Uni's gigs - the closeup were done at Nicks 50th birthday (yes they have been playing together that long!) recently in Croyde, but Ralph was away surfing in Sri lanka and Giles stepped in on Bass (sorry Giles i had to cut all shots of you). If anyone wants to give me some completion funding for the documentary then please get in touch!! The Universe Inspectors are Ralph Freeman (Bass guitar) Nick Austin (Saxaphone) Marcus Freeman (Drums) and Melvin Eveleigh (Lead and Vocals). See them at www.universeinspectors.com for more gig dates and merchanise.
