Shot on a Sony HDR-FX1 with a Redrock M2 Cinema adapter, using a Sigma 28mm/1.8 lens (Nikon mount) as well as a 35mm/1.4 and 50mm/1.8 lens from Nikkor. Also, the quite great music is by none other than Redhawk Productions local film composer Nils Bülow! I decided to add some music to it and just name it a follow-up to the Summer Spirit film I did a couple of years ago, which was also mainly shot as an equipment test. Cant wait to make a proper film using the above equipment! I dont think Ill upload this into the Movies section of the website, as its mainly a test. Cameras involved in this test: - Canon HF S10 @ 1080P - Canon HF S10 @ 1080P with triple video lights on. - Nikon D90 @ 720P with Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.5 lens - Canon T2i @ 1080P with Canon 50mm f1.8 lens Note: All clips were shot indoors with indoor lighting except for the one where I used video lights on my Canon. Conclusion: Canon T2i with this f1.8 lens ROCKS! Editing done in Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 using basic color correction and sharpen effect.

www.robnunnphoto.com dSLR's are great, but lenses are expensive, even second-hand ones. If you buy a M42 lens mount adapter on eBay, you've then got access to the thousands of much cheaper (and older) M42 Lenses. M42 Glass is manual focus, and you have tomove the aperture ring by hand too, but if you put your Canon dSLR into Aperture Priority Mode, it will meter the scene and set your shutter-speed accordingly. By adding extension tubes we can take macro or close up photographs, and the equivalent EF lenses are incredibly expensive, but we can get similair shots at a fraction of the price. So buy an M42 lens mount adapter, then trawl the flea-markets, charity shops and car-boot sales for M42 glass and extension tubes. Thanks for watching, Rob.

Canon 5D Mark II with Nikon E 100mm f2.8 and a Sun 16 2x Anamorphic Lens. It's by far one of the most sharpest lenses we've come across (even sharper than my Kowa 8Z) but it does seems to suffer from chromatic abberation a bit. At first I thought it was a rebranded Sankor 16 or Kowa 16, and it could be I guess, but it is also Multi Coated. The flares do look great though! Music: The Presets - The Girl and the Sea

35mm Depth of Field (DOF) Adapter

Sample footage from my home-made 35mm Depth of Field Adapter for my Sony HVR-A1P HD camera. Basically, it's a box that has the mounting ring from an old Canon AE-1 camera that accepts Canon FD lenses. Inside the box is a spindle-motor from an old Sony Discman hooked up to a 1.5v AA battery holder and switch. On the spindle is a frosted CD from spindle bulk-pack of CDs (the clear or frosted ones you get on the top and bottom of the stack). A 37mm macro lens screwed on the front of the HVR-A1 allows the camera to focus onto the rotating CD through a hole in the back of the box, and some extruded-angle and 'T' aluminium bars hold the box and camera together. The result here is a little darker than the original thanks to the compression process used by YouTube, but you can see the effect. Music created using Magix Music Maker.
